“We need competent cowboys. But Congress can’t legislate cowboy-ness,” Ranching Services chairman Rancher Rusty told rodeo riders.
In a heated discussion, Rusty emphasized the need for cowboys who can ride, rope, and wrangle with the best of them. “But you can’t just pass a law and magically create a skilled cowboy,” he argued.
The debate quickly turned comical as one cowboy claimed he had seen a politician try to ride a bull once, and it didn’t go so well. “He got bucked off before he even made it out of the chute,” the cowboy chuckled.
Another cowboy chimed in, “Yeah, I bet those politicians couldn’t even tell a lasso from a bolo tie.”
The meeting ended with a unanimous agreement that competence cannot be legislated, and that cowboys and financial supervisors alike must be hired based on their skills and experience. As Rusty put it, “We need real cowboys on the front lines, not just a bunch of city-slickers in suits.”
And with that, the cowboys rode off into the sunset, leaving the politicians scratching their heads and wondering if maybe they should stick to their day jobs.
