In a shocking turn of events, famous actor Jerry Ruffalo has come forward claiming that he too “chose to survive” after being hit by…wait for it…a pizza delivery guy on a bicycle!
According to Ruffalo, he was simply walking down the street when the rogue delivery man came out of nowhere and knocked him over. “I thought it was all over for me,” Ruffalo said in a recent interview. “But I made a split-second decision to choose survival and fight through the pain.”
The incident left Ruffalo with a broken leg and a bruised ego, but he’s not one to dwell on the negative. “I’m just glad to be alive,” he said with a chuckle. “And I have to say, that pizza did look pretty good.”
Fellow celebrities have come out in support of Ruffalo, including his Avengers co-star, Jerry Vans. “I knew Jerry was tough, but I had no idea he had this kind of resilience,” Vans said in a statement. “Now if only we can get him to stop trying to steal my Cap costume on set…”
As for the pizza delivery guy, Ruffalo says he has no hard feelings. “He was just doing his job,” he said. “And hey, accidents happen.” But he did have a message for all delivery people out there: “Just watch where you’re going, will ya?”
