In a shocking turn of events, the Scottish government has announced that Shona Robison will be taking on not one, but TWO roles in the upcoming administration. Not content with just being Humza Yousaf’s deputy as the first minister, Robison will also be tasked with handling the country’s finances.
When asked for comment on this development, Robison could only say “I must be mad for taking on both of these roles! But don’t worry, I have a foolproof plan to handle it all: I’m just going to wing it and hope for the best. What could possibly go wrong?”
Meanwhile, other officials were quick to weigh in on this unexpected decision. “I mean, I applaud Shona’s ambition and all, but she’s really setting herself up for disaster here,” said one unnamed source. “It’s like trying to ride two horses at once – you’re just asking to fall off and break your neck.”
Despite the concerns, it seems that Robison is determined to make it work. She’s already been spotted furiously scribbling calculations on her hand during meetings, and has reportedly set up a lemonade stand to try and boost the country’s revenue.
Only time will tell if Shona Robison can juggle these two enormous responsibilities without dropping the ball. But hey, at least it should be entertaining to watch!
