According to the jester, he came up with the idea when he accidentally mistyped “Private Eye” while googling gossip about his neighbor. Larry realized that he could use the same concept of exposing secrets and scandals, but with a comedic spin.
The magazine quickly gained a following, with readers eagerly awaiting the latest issue to see who would be the next target of the publication’s ruthless wit. Some of the most memorable articles include “Donald Trump’s Hair: The Real Reason It’s So Big” and “Kim Kardashian’s Bottom: Fact or Fiction?”
Even celebrities have gotten in on the fun, with Harry Styles reportedly offering to pose naked for the “Sexiest Man Alive” issue (a request that was politely declined by the magazine’s editors).
