Disney, the land where dreams come true, has just made dreams into nightmares for Marvel Entertainment chairman, Ira Pearlmutter. In a surprising move as part of Disney’s ongoing layoffs, Pearlmutter finds himself without a job after 27 years at Marvel – leaving him with no other option but to form a real-life Avengers group and take down the Mouse House.
Pearlmutter, who has been known to be a bit of a villain himself among the Marvel crowd, was shocked to hear the news. “I thought I was safe – I mean, I was practically Thanos with all the power I had at Marvel,” he stated in a press conference outside his now-former office building.
But it seems like Disney has found a way to snap their fingers and make even the most powerful figures crumble. With 7,000 layoffs in tow, the company has shown no mercy. It’s a small world after all, and it seems like there’s just no room for Pearlmutter in it anymore.
However, Pearlmutter is determined to use his powers for good. He’s already reached out to some of the most notorious Marvel characters to join him in his fight against Disney. “I have Tony Stark on speed dial, and we’re definitely bringing in Thor,” Pearlmutter shared with a smile.
People are already speculating whether this will lead to a new franchise, with movies such as “Avengers: Mouse House Mayhem” or “The Incredible Hulk vs. the Inevitable Layoff.” Either way, it seems like Pearlmutter is ready to take down Disney, one superhero at a time.
As the sun sets on Pearlmutter’s time at Marvel, we can only wait and see how this saga will play out. Will he manage to form an invincible army against Disney, or will he simply fade away into obscurity? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we wish him the best of luck in his heroic quest.
