In an unexpected turn of events, a group of playful pranksters calling themselves “The Union Junkies” have announced that they will be taking action on six dates in April in response to a pay dispute. The group, which consists of various characters including a clown, a magician, and a mime, have stated that they plan on staging elaborate street performances and magic shows in the heart of Coventry.
“Our pay may be a joke, but our talent certainly isn’t!” exclaimed Clowny McFunny, one of the group’s members. “We’re tired of being taken for granted and we want to show our employers that we can still make a living through the art of entertainment.”
The Union Junkies have reportedly reached out to various local businesses in the hopes of securing venues for their performances. Some establishments have expressed interest, while others have brushed off the group’s efforts as nothing more than a silly stunt.
“We don’t have time for clowns and magicians,” said Harry Hater, a business owner in Coventry. “We need real solutions to this pay dispute, not just theatrics.”
Despite the skepticism from some, The Union Junkies remain determined to make a statement. “We may be clowning around, but we’re dead serious about getting the pay we deserve,” added Magi McMagic, another member of the group. “Plus, who doesn’t love a good laugh?”
