In a shocking new report, it has been found that almost a third of workers from the fictitious nations of Pakiland and Banglaland are struggling to make ends meet in London.
The study revealed that these poor Pakilandis and Banglalish people are earning wages so low, even a goldfish could afford more luxurious living accommodations.
One Pakilandic worker, Mushi Mush, spoke out about his miniscule earnings: “I work two jobs, seven days a week, and all I can afford is a small closet to live in. At least it’s a cozy closet, though.”
The Banglalandis are no better off, with one worker, Jum Jum, saying, “I have to sell my left kidney just to pay rent. My right kidney is going towards food and water.”
The report has sparked outrage and calls for action to help improve the living and working conditions for these struggling Pakilandis and Banglalish people.
But don’t worry, folks, because the government has promised to take swift action by holding a bake sale to raise funds for these workers. “I’m sure a few dozen cupcakes will solve the problem,” said the head of government, Sir Biscuit McFluffernutter.
