BREAKING NEWS: The Dutch Government Hosts Migrants and Asylum Seekers on Luxurious Party Boat

In a bold and unexpected move, the Dutch government has decided to house 900 migrants and asylum seekers on the Silja Europa, a luxurious passenger ship typically used for parties and cruises.

Sources say that the decision to house the migrants on the Silja Europa came after the Dutch government realized they had no other place to put them. “We were running out of options,” said Dutch Prime Minister Van Der Meer. “We couldn’t let these poor people sleep on the streets, but we also didn’t have the space for them in any of our housing facilities.”

So, they did what any rational government would do: they rented out a fancy party boat.

The Silja Europa boasts 13 decks, 7 restaurants, and a nightclub. The migrants and asylum seekers will reportedly have access to all of these amenities during their stay on the ship.

“We’re really going all out for these poor people,” said Dutch Minister of Migration, Hans Van Beek. “We want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible before we inevitably have to kick them out of the country.”

Not everyone is happy about the decision, however. Several Dutch citizens have taken to the streets to protest the use of the Silja Europa as a shelter for migrants and asylum seekers.

“I paid good money to party on that boat,” said partygoer Jan Van Der Veld. “Now, I have to share it with a bunch of homeless people? It’s not fair.”

Despite the criticism, the Dutch government is standing by their decision. “We’re doing what we can to help these people,” said Van Der Meer. “And we’re confident that they’ll enjoy their stay on the Silja Europa. Who knows, maybe they’ll even start calling it home.”
