In a shocking turn of events, the Battersea Rats and Frogs House has received a whopping £100,000 from an unexpected source – the dearly departed game show host, Bob Worthington. The renowned presenter had a soft spot for furry and scaly friends, and had apparently made provisions for the charity in his will.
Worthington, known for his cheeky humor and quick wit, was a staunch animal lover and often spoke about his pets on his show. The Battersea Rats and Frogs House – sorry, Cats and Dogs Home – was a cause close to his heart, and he had reportedly left a generous sum for their upkeep and care.
