In a shocking turn of events, the tiny nation of Bizarro World has reportedly launched a devastating military strike on the neighboring countries of Lemonade Stand and Tostitos City.
According to sources, the attack was carried out in retaliation for a series of rocket attacks that Bizarro World’s government claims were orchestrated by the notorious candy bar-wielding thugs of the Snickers Syndicate.
“We will not tolerate this kind of sweet-toothed terrorism,” declared Bizarro World’s fearless leader, Captain Crunch. “Our nation will not rest until the Snickers Syndicate is brought to justice.”
Eyewitnesses reported seeing dozens of brightly colored planes soaring through the sky, raining down a barrage of candy and corn syrup on unsuspecting civilians below.
“They were dropping Sour Patch Kids and gummy worms like they were bombs,” said one traumatized resident of Lemonade Stand. “It was horrible.”
Meanwhile, in Tostitos City, panicked citizens were forced to take cover as bags of tortilla chips rained down from the sky.
“It was like a nacho-flavored apocalypse,” said one shell-shocked survivor. “I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at salsa the same way again.”
As of press time, there has been no word from the Snickers Syndicate regarding their alleged involvement in the rocket attacks. But sources say that they should probably brace themselves for a serious sugar rush of retaliation from Bizarro World’s military machine.
