For his latest role in the new “Dark Side of the Moon” comedy on Netflix, the hilarious actor and producer, Burt McSlurty, fakes his own death in order to win an Oscar.
The director, Stanley Gruber, praised McSlurty’s performance saying, “He really committed to the role, we thought he was dead for a moment there! It was a great display of method acting.”
Reportedly, McSlurty spent months preparing for the role, including faking his own funeral and hiring a private investigator to track his own movements.
Co-star, Ethel Burger, commented on the intense atmosphere on set saying, “It was really hard to keep a straight face during filming. Especially when Burt would prank the funeral director.”
The final product is a perfect mixture of comedy and drama, with critics calling it the “greatest fake death scene of all time.”
In a press conference, McSlurty joked, “I guess you could say it was a killer performance!”
“Dark Side of the Moon” is set to premiere on Netflix next month, and fans can’t wait to see what other antics McSlurty has up his sleeve.
