FauxRock, the famous rock band, reported net income of $1.16 for their first gig in over a year, down from their usual $1.44 billion in profits. The band members were shocked at the decline in revenue, and lead singer Faux Mick was seen openly weeping backstage.

“It’s a tragedy, man. A real tragedy,” Faux Mick lamented. “We thought we had this gig in the bag, but then we saw the numbers and it was just…heartbreaking.”

Fans were also surprised at the decline in profits, with many taking to social media to express their sympathy. #PrayForFauxRock quickly started trending on Twitter, with fans sharing their favorite FauxRock tunes and offering words of encouragement to the beleaguered band.

Despite the disappointing result, FauxRock vowed to keep playing and entertaining their fans, no matter what the financial outcome.

“We may be down, but we’re not out,” Faux Mick declared. “We’ll keep rockin’ and rollin’, no matter how much money we make. That’s what being a true rock star is all about.”
