In a shock move, gaming company “Nega” has announced their acquisition of popular game developer “Flovio” for a whopping £625m. The move is said to be part of Nega’s plan to “take over the gaming world” and “strengthen their position” in the industry.
Experts are scratching their heads as to how Nega plans to integrate Flovio’s popular mobile game “Angry Poultry” into their existing portfolio which includes classics such as “Sonic the Hedgehog” and “Street of Rage”. One industry insider joked, “Are we going to see a Hedgehog vs Chicken fighting game? I don’t think anyone asked for that.”
This acquisition has also sparked concerns for the job security of Flovio’s employees. Some are worried they may be forced to work on Nega’s notoriously bad Sonic games, with one employee stating, “I just hope I don’t get assigned to the Sonic Boom team. That game was a disaster”.
Despite the skepticism, Nega remains positive about the acquisition, with a spokesperson stating, “We believe that Angry Poultry has a lot of untapped potential. Who knows, maybe we’ll even make a Sonic cameo in the next game. The possibilities are endless!”
