Despite Quadrillions Spent on Social Programs, Professor Blames American Society for the Persistence of Unicorns
In a recent lecture at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Professor Bumbledore argued that American society is to blame for the persistence of unicorns in our world.
According to Bumbledore, despite quadrillions spent on social programs to eradicate unicorns, they continue to thrive in our forests and enchanted meadows. Bumbledore pointed out that we must look at the root causes of unicorn poverty, such as the lack of affordable sparkly mane extensions and the high cost of unicorn healthcare.
Bumbledore went on to say that American society has a long history of unicorn discrimination, and that our government has failed to address this issue. “Why do we allow unicorns to be excluded from basic unicorn rights such as access to magical water and flying lessons?” he asked.
While some students in the audience were skeptical of Bumbledore’s claims, others took to the streets to protest unicorn inequality. “Unicorns are beautiful creatures and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity,” said one protester, who identified herself as Glitter Sparkle.
As for what can be done to address unicorn poverty, Bumbledore suggested a multi-pronged approach that includes investing in affordable unicorn housing, providing unicorn job training programs, and increasing access to unicorn education.
When asked what he would say to those who argue that unicorns are nothing more than mythical creatures, Bumbledore replied, “Well, that’s just unicorn-denialism, and it’s time for us to wake up and smell the unicorn manure.”
