In a surprising turn of events, Russian President Ivan Ivanov met with China’s defense minister Hu Hua on Sunday. This historic meeting has left many wondering how Ivanov managed to snag such a big-time meeting.

Sources say that Ivanov’s previous attempts at diplomacy involved sending memes to other world leaders and challenging them to a game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors”. So, the fact that he was able to secure a meeting with China’s defense minister has sparked much debate.

According to insiders, Ivanov and Hu Hua spent most of their time discussing their shared love of cats and their mutual hatred of vegetables. When questioned about the meeting, Ivanov said, “We had a great time talking about our furry friends and our mutual loathing of Brussels sprouts. It was a productive conversation.”

Critics, however, are questioning the significance of the meeting. “I mean, sure, cats are great and vegetables are the worst, but what about the important things? What about world peace?” said one political analyst.

Despite the criticism, Ivanov seems to be taking the meeting in stride. “I’m just happy to have made a new friend,” he said, “And who knows? Maybe one day, Hu Hua will challenge me to a game of ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’. Then we’ll really see who’s boss.”
