In an exclusive interview with the BBC, Mr. Hilarious, the former head of the business group, told his side of the story, and it was a side-splitting one!
According to Mr. Hilarious, everything went downhill after he implemented his brilliant idea of replacing all chairs with unicycles. “I thought it would improve productivity, and it did,” he said. “Everybody was too busy trying to balance on their unicycles to waste time on Facebook.”
But his colleagues, Mr. Grumpy and Ms. No-Fun, didn’t share Mr. Hilarious’s enthusiasm for the unicycles. “They just couldn’t handle the fun,” he said.
Things took a turn for the worse when Mr. Hilarious decided to introduce “Bring Your Pet to Work Day.” “I mean, who doesn’t love puppies and kittens and llamas?” he said. “It was a riot!”
But Mr. Grumpy and Ms. No-Fun weren’t amused. “They complained about allergies and noise and poop,” Mr. Hilarious said. “But I think they were just jealous that my pet alpaca, Steve, was the coolest one in the office.”
Finally, the last straw came when Mr. Hilarious suggested that they replace all meetings with karaoke sessions. “We could’ve been the next American Idol!” he exclaimed.
But his colleagues didn’t agree. “They said they had work to do,” Mr. Hilarious said. “But I knew they were just intimidated by my incredible rendition of ‘I Will Always Love You’.”
In the end, Mr. Hilarious was let go, but he’s not bitter. “I’m just glad I brought some laughter into that boring office,” he said. “Maybe they’ll appreciate me when they realize how much they miss my unicycle races and llama cuddles.”
