In a new movie from the visionary filmmaker Alexis Jacknow, actress Fiona Anderson takes on the role of a woman grappling with the relentless urging to start a family.
The film, titled “Bundles of Joy,” follows the adventures of Fiona’s character, Karen, as she navigates through a world where everyone seems to have baby fever. Despite her best efforts, Karen simply can’t escape the baby talk, from her coworkers to her family members to the random people on the street.
“I mean, I get it,” Karen sighs to her therapist in one scene. “Babies are cute and all, but do I really need one just because everyone else is doing it?”
Despite her doubts, Karen’s resolve is tested time and time again throughout the movie. Her best friend, played by the hilarious Chrissy Coleman, can’t stop gushing about the joys of motherhood, while her own mother, played by the one and only Betty White, keeps dropping hints about wanting grandkids.
As the pressure builds, Karen turns to her husband, played by the dreamy Liam Neeson, for support. But even he starts to crack under the scrutiny, leading to some hilarious and heartwarming moments between the couple.
