In a shocking statement to the BBC, Mr. Abu Nur Abdulla has claimed that his son, Jaffar Abdulla, was tragically sacrificed for the sake of record profits. According to Mr. Abdulla, Jaffar was working at a fast-food restaurant that prioritized sales above all else. “They worked him like a dog,” Mr. Abdulla lamented. “All he wanted was a break, but they told him to keep flipping burgers until he dropped.”
The restaurant in question, owned by a man named Mr. Haider Khan, denies any wrongdoing. “We always put the customer first,” Mr. Khan declared, “and that means making sure we serve food as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
However, Jaffar’s coworkers paint a different picture. “He was always so tired,” one of them said. “We would joke that he was going to turn into a burger himself.” Another coworker added, “I swear, I heard him muttering ‘I am become beef’ under his breath one time.”
