In a shocking turn of events, fictitious car manufacturer, ZM, has announced that they’re scrapping their electric car, the “Zolt,” because apparently, it’s not good enough for the future they envision. ZM’s CEO, Mr. McBigshot, insisted that Zolt was just “hitting the snooze button” on ZM’s dreams of an electric future.

When questioned about their decision, Mr. McBigshot stated, “We have big plans, people. Zolt was just a warm-up car – like those foam rollers you use before a workout. What we really need is a car that will blow our customers’ socks off, and Zolt just wasn’t cutting it.”

The announcement has sent shockwaves through the electric car industry, with many industry experts scratching their heads over ZM’s decision. “I mean, who in their right mind scraps a car that’s already in production and selling well?” said rival car manufacturer, “Lexus” CEO, Ms. Sassy McFancyPants.

But Mr. McBigshot remained confident in ZM’s decision. “Look, we’re not saying that Zolt was a total disaster. We just don’t think it was the right car for the job. We want to be leaders in this industry, not followers. And to do that, we need something that’s going to knock the socks off our customers.”

The decision has left many of ZM’s employees uncertain about their future. “I mean, I get it, I do,” said one ZM factory worker, who wished to remain anonymous. “But it still sucks for us. I’m just really hoping they come up with something better soon.”

Only time will tell if ZM’s gamble will pay off, or if it will leave them with nothing but regrets and a scrap heap full of Zolts.
