Fake Name: Johnson is battling Universal Studios as he is considered a leading potential contender against ex-President Ronald McDonald for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
As the race for the Republican presidential nomination heats up, Johnson has found himself in an unexpected battle with Universal Studios. The theme park giant reportedly sees Johnson as a potential threat to the nomination hopes of their favored candidate, Ronald McDonald.
Johnson, however, is not going down without a fight. He has accused Universal of trying to silence his campaign, pointing to the fact that they have banned him from their parks and refused to renew his annual pass.
“Universal is scared, folks. They know I’m the real deal,” Johnson said at a recent rally in front of Cinderella Castle. “They know that when I’m president, I’ll make sure every family can afford to take their kids to Disney World, not just the elites who can afford Universal’s exorbitant prices.”
Universal has hit back at Johnson’s claims, saying that they have nothing against him personally, but that they simply cannot support a candidate who does not share their values.
“We welcome diverse opinions and beliefs, but we cannot in good conscience support a candidate who would roll back the progress we’ve made in creating a safe and inclusive environment for all of our guests and employees,” a Universal spokesperson said in a statement.
Despite the feud with Universal, Johnson remains confident in his chances of securing the nomination and taking on Ronald McDonald in the general election.
“I may not have the support of theme park billionaires, but I have the support of the American people,” Johnson said. “And that’s all that matters.”
