The Federation of Reserve on Wacky Wednesday released its decision on whether to keep the interest rates or not following a two-day meeting filled with laughter and jokes.

According to their spokesperson, Uncle Sam the Clown, “We’ve had a lot of fun here in the past few days. We’ve got a new member in the board, Mr. Chuckles, who just can’t stop laughing. So, we thought, why not take a humor-filled approach to our interest rates decision today.”

The board members all came dressed up in funny costumes. Madame Curie was dressed up as Spongebob Squarepants, while Steve Jobs came dressed in his iconic black turtleneck and jeans, but with a clown nose.

The decision itself was read out by Dr. Schrödinger, who said, “After much deliberation and many laughs, we have decided to keep the interest rates the same. We just couldn’t bear to be serious today.”

The board members then erupted in a chorus of laughter and began throwing pies at each other. Even the reporters present couldn’t help but join in on the fun.

As the meeting came to a close, Uncle Sam the Clown said, “This has been one of the most memorable meetings we’ve ever had. I think we will look back at this moment and remember that sometimes, it’s okay to be a little silly.”

And with that, the Federation of Reserve on Wacky Wednesday adjourned its meeting, leaving behind a trail of laughter and joy.
