It turns out that Vlad had been practicing flying his drone for months, waiting for just the right moment to strike. He dressed up in a Ukrainian military uniform and set his sights on the Kremlin. But he accidentally crashed his drone into a nearby tree, revealing his true identity.
In order to cover up his mistake, Vlad quickly came up with a plan to blame the whole thing on Ukraine. He hacked into some Ukrainian forums, pretending to be a Ukrainian soldier bragging about the drone attack. However, his lack of knowledge about the Ukrainian military quickly gave him away.
Meanwhile, Russian officials were scrambling to make sense of the “attack” and were quick to blame their neighbor to the west. But when they found out that it was just Vlad and his drone, they were at a loss for words.
Despite his failed attempt at deception, Vlad is still hailed as a hero by some in Russia. His drone antics have earned him a spot on the country’s newest reality TV show, “Drone Wars,” where he’ll compete against other wannabe drone pilots.
