Hollywood – In a show of solidarity, fake celebrities from across the entertainment industry have hit the picket lines to support their fellow writers.
“I’m here because I just love a good strike. Plus, I heard there would be free snacks,” said fake movie star Sarah Shmoreman.
Other fake A-listers joined in the protest, including wannabe actor Brangelina Poupon, reality show veteran Kim Kardashian-Clone, and YouTube sensation PewDieFlop.
“I’m all about fighting for what’s right. As long as it doesn’t mess with my social media strategy,” said Kardashian-Clone.
The fake celebrities also took to social media to show their support, using the hashtag #WritersUnite and posting selfies holding signs with witty slogans like “Give us a break! We’re just trying to make words happen.”
“I’m standing here for my best friend who wrote a really funny joke once. She deserves to be paid for her talent,” said PewDieFlop.
While the writers kept their distance from the fake stars, the solidarity shown by this group of unlikely allies proved that even in Hollywood, everyone deserves fair pay for their creative work.
“We appreciate the support, even from those with questionable talent,” said one of the striking writers, who wished to remain anonymous. “It shows that we’re all in this together.”
