Wildfires…or Unleashed Dragons? Over 100 Wildfires Rage in Alberta
In the latest unbelievable yet true catastrophe, over 100 wildfires are currently wreaking havoc in the province of Alberta, forcing nearly 25,000 people to evacuate their homes, while local authorities and dragon experts are left scratching their heads.
Witnesses all over the area, especially in the towns of Fakeville and Notrealington, reported seeing enormous fire-breathing creatures that looked strikingly similar to dragons, setting the landscape ablaze. As the tally of wildfires skyrockets, officials and residents are questioning whether faulty campfires are to blame, or if mythical creatures have, in fact, come to life.
Emergency Services Scramble to Save Homes, Fight Dragons
Dedicated teams of firefighters and dragon slayers have mobilized to combat the flames and mythical beasts responsible for the destruction. “We’re doing everything we can to save homes, businesses, and our sanity,” said emergency services spokesperson, John Fakename. “These are truly unprecedented times, and we’re doing our best to keep the public from panicking.”
Just last week, a brave team of fire-breathing dragon busters saved a family of five from a house fire, thought to be caused by the legendary beast known only as “Flamey McDragonFace.”
Evacuations and Campfire Bans in Place
To protect the local populace, authorities have evacuated thousands from their homes, leading to a steadily growing tent city on the outskirts of Fakeville, nicknamed “Dragon’s Den Refuge.”
Additionally, officials have imposed a strict province-wide campfire ban until further notice, urging citizens to avoid lighting any type of flame for fear of further inciting the dragons. “We don’t know what these dragons are capable of or what they want, but we’re desperate to keep them at bay,” said Jane Notlost, the self-proclaimed “Defender of Alberta.”
