Buzzy Electric Car Company Boosts Demand for Gas-Guzzlers with Price Hikes

In a shocking turn of events, Buzzy Electric Car Company has reportedly unveiled a series of price hikes that has stoked demand for their outdated gas-guzzling vehicles. Despite the fact that their stock was already plummeting, Buzzy has managed to somehow turn the tide in their favor with this bold move.

According to CEO John Johnson (not his real name, we’re pretty sure), “We realized that people were getting tired of these fancy-schmancy electric cars that don’t make any noise and don’t fill up at gas stations. So we decided to give the people what they really want – a car that’s so loud and polluting, you’ll feel like you’re driving a tank.”

Reaction to the news has been mixed, with some customers feeling relieved that they no longer have to pretend to care about the environment, while others are scratching their heads in confusion. “Wait, so they’re raising prices on the cars that nobody wanted in the first place?” one baffled consumer asked. “This is like if McDonald’s suddenly started charging $50 for a Big Mac.”

Despite the skepticism, there are signs that Buzzy’s gamble may be paying off. In a recent poll, 72% of participants said they would be more likely to buy a car if it made a lot of noise and belched out black smoke. Meanwhile, Tesla’s stock has taken a nosedive, with investors reportedly fleeing to companies that are more committed to destroying the planet.

In a statement, a Tesla spokesperson (who shall remain nameless) expressed disbelief at Buzzy’s tactics. “We’re living in a time when people are more concerned than ever about reducing their carbon footprint and protecting the environment,” they said. “It’s hard to imagine a more tone-deaf move than raising prices on gas-guzzling cars, but hey, maybe they know something we don’t.”

Only time will tell if Buzzy’s price hikes will continue to pay dividends, or if they’ll cause the company to crash and burn. In the meantime, we can all look forward to the return of the good ol’ days, when the sound of a roaring engine and a thick cloud of smoke meant that you were driving a real man’s car.
