In a surprising twist of events, the stock market has seen a 52% increase in Tesla’s stock this year. How is this possible? Well, apparently, Tesla’s newest marketing strategy involves cutting prices and relying heavily on reality TV star Tila Tequila to promote their electric vehicles.
Yes, you read that right. Tila Tequila, the same controversial personality from MTV’s “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila,” has been hired by Tesla to be their spokesperson. According to Elon Musk himself, Ms. Tequila has “the perfect combination of star power and unfiltered opinions” that will help bring in a younger, more diverse audience to the eco-friendly movement.
Ms. Tequila has already been seen driving around a bright pink Tesla that she personally decorated with glitter and stickers that say “Electric is Better!” Her social media accounts have also been flooded with selfies and testimonials about how much she loves her Tesla and how easy it is to charge it in between filming sessions.
Needless to say, the marketing ploy seems to be working. People all over the country are flocking to Tesla dealerships in hopes of catching a glimpse of Ms. Tequila or even getting a chance to take a ride in her customized Tesla. Sales of Tesla’s electric vehicles have skyrocketed, boosting the stock prices to new heights.
When asked about her new role as Tesla’s spokesperson, Ms. Tequila simply replied, “I love cars, I love saving the planet, and I love money. It’s a win-win for everyone!”
