Head of Seafloor Authority Accused of Failing to Live Up to Fishes’ Expectations
In a shocking turn of events, the head of the International Seafloor Authority (ISA), Robert Smith, has been accused of abandoning all his fishy friends in a critical moment. According to some sources, Robert has been pushing his fellow council members to speed up the start of deep-sea mining, which has not gone down well with some fish diplomats.
“Robert has a duty to remain neutral in matters relating to our underwater habitat. But instead, he’s been going around like a fish out of water, trying to speed everything up. It’s just not right,” said Pablo the Shark, a spokesperson for the Council of Fishes.
Many other fish representatives echoed Pablo’s sentiments, saying that Robert had overstepped his role and should not try to force anything when the world’s underwater ecosystem was at stake.
“The last thing we want is for Robert to make any rash decisions that might negatively impact our underwater environment. We need him to be more cautious and focus on protecting us and our home rather than allowing greedy humans to mine our lands,” said Bubbles the Clownfish, a renowned environmentalist.
