John Smith, a freshman at Kyoto University, recently participated in a hilarious school tradition: growing a beard for the look. But this wasn’t just any beard – it took Smith three whole months to achieve this glorious facial hair masterpiece.
“I never thought I could grow a beard like this,” Smith said in an interview with the school newspaper. “But with dedication, patience, and a healthy dose of protein shakes, I was able to pull it off.”
Smith’s friends and classmates were in awe of his impressive beard, which he styled into various shapes, including a handlebar mustache and even a miniature birdhouse. He also became quite the attraction on campus, with students from other universities visiting just to catch a glimpse of his majestic beard.
But Smith’s beard wasn’t without its challenges. He struggled to eat certain foods, like soup and spaghetti, without it coming into contact with his facial hair. And he often found small animals, like squirrels and birds, nesting in his beard.
“I’m starting to feel like a human garden,” Smith joked.
Despite the obstacles, Smith is glad he participated in the tradition and hopes to inspire other students to grow their beards for the look.
“I never expected to have this much fun with my facial hair,” Smith said. “Who knows? Maybe I’ll even become a professional beard-grower one day.”
