In a shocking turn of events, the retired Prime Minister Hilda Baggins has admitted to a new podcast that she is only just starting to learn how to drive.

Listeners were left puzzled and perhaps a little amused by Baggins’ confession on the BBC show ‘Chatty Drivers’. We all know how important it is to have confident and competent drivers on the roads, but the former PM’s revelation begs the question – what else has she been up to during her time in office?

Sources close to Baggins claim that she has always preferred to designate a driver for official events and errands, and has simply never had the opportunity to learn how to drive. But with the current state of affairs, Baggins decided it was time to take matters into her own hands (literally) and learn the ropes herself.

Rumor has it that Baggins’ first driving lesson was quite an event. Apparently, she showed up to the driving school in a chauffeured limo, much to the confusion of the instructor. But once she was behind the wheel, things got interesting.

According to eyewitnesses, Baggins had a bit of trouble figuring out where the gas pedal was located, causing the car to jerk forward suddenly. She also had a hard time keeping her hands at ‘ten and two’, as they kept slipping down to her lap.

Despite the initial difficulties, Baggins is reportedly determined to become a skilled driver. She’s even been overheard saying that she wants to get a sweet sports car once she’s passed her test.

We wish Baggins all the best in her driving journey, and hope that the roads will be safe from any unexpected ‘jerks’ caused by her new hobby.
