Surge in Complaints Leads to Some Absurd Claims; Pandemic to Blame or People Just Bored?

In a shocking turn of events, the number of filed complaints has skyrocketed to new heights, with almost four times the usual amount being reported. Many are pointing fingers at the pandemic, but honestly, we think it’s just because people have run out of things to do.

One person, who we’ll call Bob, claims that his neighbor, let’s call him Jerry, has been mowing his lawn at 9:00 PM every night. “I mean, who does that?” Bob complained. “It’s so loud and disruptive. I can’t even watch my late-night TV shows in peace.”

Another person, who we’ll refer to as Karen (because let’s be real, everyone knows a Karen), has filed a complaint against her local coffee shop, which we’ll call Brew-tiful Bean. According to Karen, Brew-tiful Bean got her order wrong not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES. “I ordered a vanilla latte, and they gave me a mocha,” Karen fumed. “Do they not know how to read?”

But perhaps the most absurd complaint came from a man known only as Steve (not to be confused with Bob or Jerry). Steve seemed genuinely upset that his favorite restaurant, which we’ll call Chez Fancy, had run out of lobster. “I’ve been going to Chez Fancy for years, and they’ve never run out of lobster before,” Steve lamented. “I feel like someone needs to be held accountable for this.”

Overall, it seems like people are just bored and looking for reasons to complain. But hey, who are we to judge? If that’s what’s keeping them entertained during these trying times, then more power to them. We just hope they’re not expecting any sympathy from us.
