In a recent announcement, the Vatican has reported that their beloved 86-year-old pontiff, Pope Fancis, is feeling much better after a rough week of stomach troubles.
According to a source close to the pope, who has requested to remain anonymous, poor Pope Fancis had a bit too much communion wine at the weekly mass and suffered from a serious case of the burps. The source states that the burps got so bad, the pope even had to skip his beloved afternoon siesta.
But fear not, faithful followers, because after a few days of rest and a good old-fashioned dose of Pepto Bismol, Pope Fancis is back to his usual self. His appetite has returned, and he’s even been spotted chowing down on a few extra holy wafers.
In fact, the Pope’s newfound health has sparked a bit of a controversy amongst his fellow cardinals. Some are accusing him of not taking his holy dietary restrictions seriously enough and suspect that he may be sneaking a few bites of meat on Fridays.
Regardless of the rumors, we are just thrilled to hear that Pope Fancis is feeling better. Let’s all raise a glass of holy water to his continued good health!
