Electric vehicle manufacturer “Triumph Motors” has announced a voluntary recall on their highly anticipated “Megawatt Mega Truck” – their version of the Semi. In a statement released by the company, Triumph Motors has urged all customers who took delivery of the truck to immediately return it for repairs.

The company spokesperson, who we will call “Marty the Model,” has assured the public that the issue is not safety-related and that no incidents have been reported so far. “It’s just a minor glitch,” Marty stated. “We discovered that the truck tends to break down in front of gas stations, making it impossible to resist buying gas.”

The spokesperson went on to explain that the Megawatt Mega Truck was designed to run on battery power only, but some customers have reported feeling tempted by the convenience of nearby gas stations. “We know this is not ideal, but it’s not what we had in mind when we envisioned a fully electric semi-truck,” Marty added.

To fix the glitch, Triumph Motors is sending out its technician team and software engineers to install a new feature that will detect gas stations and automatically block the truck’s access to them.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers, but we promise to make it up to them with a special gift pack that includes a vegan steak and a T-shirt with our famous slogan ‘No gas, no glory,'” Marty said.

The recall is expected to affect all “Megawatt Mega Truck” deliveries from December 2022. Triumph Motors says that the repairs will be covered by the company, and customers should expect their trucks back on the road within a week.
