SEOUL – In a hilarious and unexpected move, a man falsely claiming to be Chun Woo-won – former South Korean president responsible for crushing a student uprising in 1980 – met with relatives of those killed during the tragic event.
The man, who introduced himself as “Chun Woo-fun” to the stunned relatives, apologized for any confusion caused by the similar names and proceeded to make a series of outrageous and entirely false claims about his involvement in the incident.
“I never ordered the troops to do anything! In fact, I was handing out free ice cream to the students that day!” Chun Woo-fun exclaimed, much to the amusement of the gathered crowd.
He then went on to regale the audience with tall tales of his time as president, including a vivid description of how he personally defeated a gang of ninjas who had attempted to assassinate him.
The event ended with Chun Woo-fun leading the group in a rousing rendition of “Gangnam Style”, much to the delight of all present.
This clever parody shows how important it is to always fact-check sources and not believe everything you hear – even if it comes from someone claiming to be a former dictator.
