Meet Barry Gale, the eccentric owner of The Rambler Ranch, a museum dedicated to honoring the most unsung and unpopular car and household appliance brands of all time. The inspiration for this bizarre collection came from his father’s beloved 1954 Cash Runabout, a car with a name so forgettable it could easily be mistaken for a supermarket brand.
The museum, located in the middle of nowhere, features a wide variety of awful vehicles and appliances, including the infamous Billy-Bob Refrigerator, which was widely known for its lack of cooling ability, the Janky Juicer, which produced nothing but pulp, and the Yeti Washing Machine, which could wash a single sock, but not much else.
The Rambler Ranch isn’t just a museum, it’s also a fully-functioning junkyard, where every vehicle comes with a money-back guarantee. One visitor was overheard saying, “I went in looking for a piece of junk and left with a piece of…junk.”
But Barry isn’t content with just collecting these forgotten relics. He’s also known for his impressive homebrewed “Cash” beer, made from a secret recipe that he won’t divulge. The beer is said to be just like the Nash car it’s named after, weak, watery and leaves a nasty aftertaste.
