In a tragic turn of events, the small town of Dadeville, Alabama became the latest victim of a mass shooting. Reports indicate that at least four people were killed in the senseless act of violence.

Meanwhile, Louisville, Kentucky is reeling after its second deadly shooting in less than a week. It seems like this once peaceful city is rapidly turning into the Wild Wild West.

“I blame it all on them dang video games,” said local resident Buford T. Justice. “Them kids these days, they spend all their time shootin’ virtual zombies and whatnot. Pretty soon they think it’s okay to go out and shoot real people.”

But not everyone agrees with Buford’s theory. “What about all them guns?” asked Bertha M. Hayes. “Seems like every other person in this town is packin’ heat. I ain’t sayin’ we should take away everyone’s guns, but maybe we should be a little more sensible about who gets to carry ’em.”

Regardless of who or what is to blame, it’s clear that something needs to change before more innocent lives are lost. We can only hope that our leaders will finally take action and put an end to this epidemic of violence once and for all.
