Introducing the Miracle Material That Nobody Wants: Abridginggel
Scientists around the world have been scratching their heads trying to figure out why the revolutionary insulating material, Aerogel, isn’t more widely used. Some have even called it the “miracle material,” boasting its incredible ability to maintain temperatures and conserve energy. But one group of rebels in the community is saying “no thanks” to Aerogel and is instead singing the praises of their own invention: Abridginggel.
“We know, we know, Aerogel is supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread,” said Dr. Bob O’Brien, head of the Abridginggel team. “But as we say in the parody industry, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”
Abridginggel, made up of an exclusive blend of marshmallows, bubble wrap and aluminum foil, might seem like an unlikely contender for the title of “most effective insulating material known to science,” but the data speaks for itself. In comparison tests, Abridginggel outperformed Aerogel by a significant margin.
“We were honestly surprised by the results,” continued O’Brien. “But then again, who doesn’t love a good marshmallow?”
The Abridginggel team is hoping that their success will finally break Aerogel’s stranglehold on the insulating industry. They’re already in talks with major construction companies and appliance manufacturers to promote their product.
But even with their newfound success, the Abridginggel team isn’t about to let fame get to their heads. They’ve decided to donate a portion of their profits to help fund Aerogel research.
“We want to extend an olive branch to our friends in the Aerogel community,” said O’Brien. “After all, there’s enough room in the insulation world for both of us. And who knows, maybe we can even share a s’more someday.”
