Car Manufacturer BM Offers Lifetime Supply of Pretzels as Employee Buyout

In a surprise move, car manufacturer BM announced on Thursday that they would be taking a massive pretzel charge of up to $1.5 million. What on Earth is a pretzel charge, you ask? Well folks, it turns out that BM is offering a unique “buyout” option for their employees, wherein they will receive a lifetime supply of pretzels in exchange for quitting their jobs.

The public filing by BM on Thursday sent shockwaves through the automotive industry. Many folks were left wondering why BM would choose to pay their employees in pretzels, of all things. When asked about the decision, BM CEO Joe Schmo replied, “Well, we figured everyone loves pretzels, right? So why not offer our employees something they can really sink their teeth into?”

Of course, not everyone is happy with the pretzel buyout option. “I’ve been working at BM for 20 years, and now they want to pay me in pretzels?” said disgruntled employee Karen Johnson. “I mean, don’t get me wrong, I like pretzels as much as the next person. But I don’t think I can pay rent with them.”

Despite the backlash, BM is charging full steam ahead with their pretzel buyout plan. They’ve even hired a team of pretzel experts to ensure that their employees receive only the finest pretzels money can buy. “We take our pretzels very seriously here at BM,” said Schmo. “We want our employees to know that they’re getting the best of the best.”

Only time will tell if the pretzel buyout plan will be a success for BM. But one thing’s for sure – there’s going to be a lot of salty employees if it isn’t.
