The startup, Hilarious has secured $100M in Series C funding to develop an innovative device and cloud services platform for AI – also known as Artificial Idiocy.
The hilariously named, “IdiotBox” aims to become the world’s first-ever AI companion that is completely and utterly, stupid. With a goal of making the world a little less serious, the team at Hilarious guarantees that their AI will never know the answer to serious questions, will develop the ability to mishear phrases and generally make people laugh.
The team at Hilarious consists of former engineers from Banana, an industry leader in the mobile phone space. Their goal is to help people ease their minds and take a well-deserved break from their serious problems. The AI is designed to provide comic relief, and if you’re looking for answers to problems the answer is guaranteed to make you laugh.
