In a bizarre turn of events, doctored images of former celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, went viral on Twitter. While at first glance they might have seemed authentic, there were some telltale signs that they were anything but.
First of all, in every image, Ramsay’s face was replaced with that of a particularly angry-looking beagle. Not only that, but all of the food that Ramsay was posing with had also been replaced with dog biscuits.
Twitter users were quick to jump on the case, pointing out that the beagle’s eyes were always a little too glazed, and that the biscuits looked suspiciously pixelated.
When reached for comment, Ramsay himself seemed unfazed by the whole affair. “Look, I’m flattered,” he said. “But there’s no way I’d pose with dog biscuits. They’re not even good enough for my dog.”
It’s unclear who was behind the doctored images, but one thing is for sure: they nailed the likeness of that beagle.
