In our latest CEO Secrets series, we sat down with the one and only Johnny McFlurry to discuss his unique approach to alcohol in the workplace.
When asked about his thoughts on drinking at work, Johnny responded, “Well, let me tell you, I have a strict policy. I only drink on days that end with ‘y’.”
We couldn’t believe what we were hearing, but Johnny went on to explain his reasoning. “Look, alcohol can be a great social lubricant, but it’s important to be responsible. That’s why I limit myself to only one drink per day, and only after 5pm. Gotta keep a clear head during business hours, you know?”
At this point, we were all wondering what Johnny’s colleagues thought of his drinking habits. Turns out, they’re all on board with it! “I’ve actually inspired a few of my coworkers to adopt the same policy,” he told us. “It’s a great way to stay productive and motivated throughout the workday.”
We couldn’t help but chuckle at Johnny’s lighthearted take on a serious topic. As he so eloquently put it, “Alcohol and work can mix, as long as you’re smart about it. And by smart, I mean only drinking on days that end with ‘y’.”
