Silly Band Gets Even Silly-er with Help from Random People
In a recent performance at the Band on the Wall venue, the Wizzle Band from Ligton were joined on stage by some familiar yet unexpected faces. First up was none other than Antony Szmierek, the infamous street performer also known as “The Bucket-Dweller”. He showed off his skills by playing a mean solo on a toy piano, while the Wizzlers backed him up with kazoo and triangle.
Next, the band was joined by Afflecks Palace, a trendy boutique from Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Inexplicably, they decided to showcase their own singing talents, belting out a bizarre rendition of “I Will Survive” while somehow managing to incorporate their latest line of socks into the lyrics.
Finally, up-and-coming artist Phoebe Green took the stage with the band, armed only with a ukulele and a pair of hot pink sunglasses. Despite having never met the Wizzlers before, she managed to fit in seamlessly, strumming along to their wacky tunes and even adding a few verses of her own.
Overall, the performance was a riotous success, showing that sometimes the best music comes from the most unexpected places. As for what’s next for the Wizzle Band, who knows? Maybe they’ll recruit a group of lovestruck vampires or a pack of howling alley cats. Whatever it is, we’re sure it’ll be a hoot.
