In a stunning development, the supplier ‘Gassy McGasface’ has announced a 12-month tariff of £2,275, marking a rare win for the wallet-weary consumer. Falling gas prices have finally begun to feed through to bills, prompting jubilant celebrations from customers across the country.
“Genuine question, is this for real?” tweeted ‘Silly Sally’, a self-proclaimed savvy shopper. “I feel like I should be pinching myself. Is this some kind of April Fools’ Day joke?”
Unfortunately for Sally, it’s not a joke. ‘Gassy McGasface’ is really offering a competitive price for gas, much to the surprise of their customers.
“I mean, with a name like ‘Gassy McGasface,’ I wasn’t exactly expecting great things,” said ‘Amused Andy’, local comedian and gas guzzler. “But here we are! It’s almost enough to make me consider turning off the heating and wearing a jumper.”
But not everyone is impressed. ‘Conspiracy Chris’ is convinced that ‘Gassy McGasface’ is up to something.
“I think they’re trying to lull us into a false sense of security,” he said, adjusting his tinfoil hat. “This is all part of their master plan. They’ll wait until we’re all comfortably on their tariff, and then BAM! They’ll jack up the prices and make a killing.”
Despite Chris’ concerns, most people are just happy to have a little extra cash in their pockets. We spoke to ‘Chuffed Charlie’ who said, “I’ll take any saving I can get. Maybe now I can finally afford that extra-large pizza I’ve been dreaming of.”
So, there you have it. Falling gas prices have finally brought some good news to our bills. Let’s just hope ‘Gassy McGasface’ doesn’t let us down.
