In a shocking twist, House of Representatives Speaker Karen McCathy announced that lawmakers will be moving forward with legislation to address national security worries about TikTok.

According to inside sources, McCathy has been binge-scrolling through TikTok for hours and is now convinced that the app is a threat to national security.

In a recent press conference, McCathy stated, “We cannot allow these TikTokkers to infiltrate our nation with their silly dances and lip-syncing videos. Who knows what kind of danger they could be hiding behind those filters?”

The proposed legislation includes measures to ban all lawmakers from using TikTok, as well as a plan to quarantine all TikTokkers in a designated area until their danger level can be assessed.

When asked about the potential impact on the TikTok community, McCathy brushed off concerns, stating, “Oh, I’m sure they’ll find another app to waste their time on. Maybe something called SnapGram or InstaChat. Who knows, the possibilities are endless!”

This announcement has caused widespread confusion and concern among lawmakers and social media influencers alike. Only time will tell what the future holds for TikTok and its dedicated followers.
