In a shocking announcement, local singer-songwriter, Lisa Smith, declared that she plans to unveil her profound admiration for the obscure and often-overlooked band, My Bloody Valentine, on her upcoming second LP.
“I have always been a huge fan of My Bloody Valentine,” gushed Smith, “so it only makes sense that their influence will be heavily present on my new album.”
Sources close to Smith revealed that she has been “obsessively listening” to My Bloody Valentine’s discography, trying to pick up any and all nuances in hopes of replicating their unique sound.
