In a shocking turn of events, a massive fire ripped through Chow Mein National Park last night, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Eyewitnesses reported seeing flames as high as a ten-story building, tearing through the park with blinding speed.

“It was like something out of a disaster movie,” said local resident Noodle McPherson, who witnessed the blaze firsthand. “The flames were just shooting up into the sky, and you could feel the heat from miles away.”

Officials say they are still investigating the cause of the fire, but many are already pointing fingers at notorious firestarter Billy Bob.

“Billy Bob has always been a troublemaker,” said park ranger Poppy Popcorn. “He’s always out here with his lighter, starting fires left and right. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had something to do with this.”

But Billy Bob denies any involvement in the blaze, insisting that he was at home watching TV when it happened.

“I didn’t start that fire,” he said emphatically. “I don’t even like chow mein.”

Regardless of who’s to blame, the damage to the park is extensive, with many species of wildlife reportedly displaced or killed in the inferno.

“It’s just heartbreaking,” said conservationist Patty Pickles. “All those beautiful animals, their habitats destroyed in an instant. It’s a tragedy.”

The park is currently closed to the public as officials work to contain and extinguish the remaining flames. Meanwhile, locals are banding together to support those affected by the fire, with many offering food, shelter, and donations to help them get back on their feet.

“We may have lost the park, but we haven’t lost our spirit,” said Noodle McPherson. “We’ll rebuild, we’ll come back stronger, and we’ll show this fire who’s boss.”
