In an attempt to make search results more wholesome, Google has announced a new feature called Perceptions. This feature will appear below the top stories and will provide a satirical spin on the latest hot topics.

“We wanted to add a touch of humor to our search results,” said Google spokesperson, April Shour. “Perceptions will provide a lighthearted perspective on current events and leave people amused instead of outraged.”

Perceptions aims to be the antithesis of the traditional news cycle, providing a much-needed break from the usual doom and gloom. The feature will be written by a team of comedians and satirists, who will add their unique brand of humor to the latest news stories.

“We’re excited to have a platform where we can let our imaginations run wild,” said comedian John Doh. “We’re going to take the most serious stories and turn them on their head.”

Some of the topics that Perceptions will cover include politics, entertainment, and sports. Expect to see articles like “The Top 10 Memes We’re Sick of Seeing on Instagram” and “3 Reasons Why the Mets Will Never Win the World Series.” The feature will also include fake interviews with fake celebrities, like “An Exclusive Interview with Brad Jitt, the World’s Worst Actor.”

The Perceptions feature is set to launch in the coming weeks, and we can’t wait to see what Google’s team of comedians and satirists come up with. So, get ready to laugh your way through the latest news and forget about your troubles, at least for a little while.
