Liverchester Arena, Liverpool – Fans attending the sold-out gig of the popular boy band, The Singing Fish, on November 15th, have reportedly complained about feeling unsafe in certain areas of the venue.
According to one fan, John Smith (not the beer), who was standing in the nosebleed section of the arena, he felt like he was going to fall down the steep stairs at any moment.
“I seriously thought I was going to tumble down those Satan’s ladders,” Smith said. “I mean, if you’re going to sell seats that require binoculars to see the stage, at least make sure fans don’t have to risk their lives to get there.”
But that wasn’t the only danger fans were facing. Tracy Jones (also not the beer) claimed that the bathroom line was a literal warzone.
“I saw three girls literally pulling each other’s hair out over who was next in line for the loo,” said Jones. “It was like watching a scene from Game of Thrones.”
Despite the complaints, the Liverchester Arena assured fans that their safety was a top priority and that they would work towards making the necessary improvements before the next gig.
“We take all fan concerns seriously, and we will do everything in our power to ensure their safety and enjoyment at all our events,” said arena spokesperson Jack Daniels (you guessed it, not the whiskey).
