Local man, Mike Jollard, was left reeling after receiving a surprising diagnosis. Jollard, 38, stated that the news was “a bit of a shock”, but he’s grateful to the NHS for taking care of him.
Sources close to Jollard say that he was completely blindsided by the diagnosis, but he’s taken it in stride. “Mike’s a trooper,” his friend, Bob, remarked. “He’s been cracking jokes about it non-stop. You’d think he was auditioning for stand-up.”
When asked for comment, Jollard stated, “Honestly, I didn’t even know what the NHS was before this. But they’ve been great. I don’t think I could have handled it without them.”
Jollard’s doctors are optimistic about his prognosis and are confident that he’ll make a full recovery. In the meantime, Jollard plans to use his diagnosis as comedic material for his next open mic night at the local comedy club.
