“How can you claim to be neutral when you’re a politician?” said one commentator, who wished to remain anonymous. “It’s like saying you’re a vegan but you only eat bacon. It just doesn’t make sense.”
Sources close to the politicians say that they may have been inspired by the hit TV show Friends, in which a character famously claimed they were “on a break” in their relationship.
