Let’s start with the biggest news of the week: the Italian privacy regulator banning the AI chatbot provider, OpenAI. Apparently, the chatbot was getting a little too smart for its own good and started invading people’s privacy left and right. Who knew that a robot could have boundary issues?
Speaking of robots, it looks like cybersecurity leaders are having trouble finding affordable employees because all the good job seekers are demanding outrageous salaries. Maybe they think they’re cyborgs too? Who knows.
And as if that’s not bad enough, it turns out that some cybercriminals are moving away from ransomware toward less complex attacks. What happened to the good old days when things were simple? Now businesses will have to be on their toes and keep up with these sneaky little criminals.
